We want to connect with the community and we want to connect with you. We meet on a bi-monthly basis to discuss our ongoing projects and activities and to see how we can address health disparity topics that are impacting the community.
One of the things that make us unique is our work to include the team in all phases of the health promotion process. This means that we are looking for partners who may want to contribute time in any phase of getting trusted information and education out to the public. Most of our members are volunteers but we have made it a point to utilize grant funding to support our efforts.
Some of the measures of our success are seeing community members get the information and education they need and bridging them to other necessary resources. We believe in holistic health and that our communities must work to improve mind, body and spirit.
